What is Parayati?
The name Parayati is inspired by ancient Sanskrit roots meaning to move forward, to journey beyond, and to step into what comes next.
We chose this name because every meaningful story contains a moment when someone must begin again.
A founder rebuilding after failure. A farmer starting over after hardship. A creator bringing an idea to life. A returning migrant investing in a new future.
Parayati exists for those moments.

The Founder
In 2020, I lost my business — Red Mud Coffee — which I had spent more than a decade building.
Not because the business failed. Not because I lacked customers. Not because I stopped believing.
Banks said no. Traditional finance moved too slowly.
The people who believed in me had no trusted way to come together and help.
Eventually, I was forced to walk away from a dream I had spent years building.
That experience revealed a deeper problem. Across Nepal, countless entrepreneurs, farmers, creators, and returning migrants face similar moments.
People with character.
People with ability.
People with plans.
But without access.
Parayati was born from that question.
